The vision we share is to join God in the renewal of all things, and for us this begins in our lives and neighbourhood. It means seeing Vancouverites transformed into followers of Jesus, practicing His way and becoming like Him in every sphere of life. Our deepest desire is to be changed and to create change.

Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That’s how the light gets in.
We are a community of struggle and hope. We embrace failure and rely on grace, walking with one another in our shared brokenness. We are a group of people learning to practice the way of Jesus. We seek to not only talk about Jesus, but to actively follow him in work, in play, and in our neighbourhoods. We are a web of stubbornly loyal relationships. We seek to love and challenge each other, and to serve the good of our neighbours. We gather during the week in homes, in coffeeshops, in the city, and in the wild. We gather on Sundays to worship God and to celebrate the Lord’s Supper.
Our name—Artisan Church—is an acknowledgement of God’s creativity, and a statement of our deep hope: to join God in the renewal of all things. Jesus is making all things new—Vancouver, even us.
