You may well be aware an amendment to the criminal code was scheduled to come into effect in March which would include mental health conditions as grounds for accessing doctor-assisted suicide. That amendment has currently been paused, but we don’t know for how long. Apologetics Canada, in partnership with ACTS Seminaries, brings you a night of exploring what will be a very relevant topic for many Canadians. The evening will feature Dr. Farr Curlin‘s keynote address, Medicine: Have We Lost Our Way?, and a panel discussion that will explore this issue from a legal, medical, spiritual, and pastoral perspective.
This pre-conference event is open to all, but medical students, professionals, pastors, and other organizational leaders are particularly welcome.
Can’t join us in person? No problem. This event will also be available via livestream, so invite your friends and family who might be interested!
