SUMMARY:Week of Prayer 2026
DESCRIPTION:Pray First/Pray Always \n2026 Week of Prayer: Being people of peace in a divided world \nJan 4-10\, 2026 | Join as CCMBC hosts online for nation-wide prayer Jan 5-9\, 2026\, 12 pm PST \n  \n“Blessed are the peacemakers\,\nfor they will be called children of God.” Matthew 5:9 \nAs believers\, we long for shalom\, for God’s Kingdom to come “on earth as it is in heaven.” \nSo join us the first week of January as we gather as an MB family across Canada to pray — for peace with God\, peace with others\, peace in our churches\, peace with creation\, peace with ourselves\, and for peace with the world. \nAs we pray for peace\, we ask God to supernaturally intervene in our increasingly divided world. And as we pray for peace\, we listen to the Spirit’s leading to move us to seek peace in our own contexts. \nTo join the online weekday prayer meetings (Jan 5-9\, 12 pm PST)\, scan the QR code shown on the above graphic. The event and Zoom link will be automatically added to your calendar apps. Or you could use this Zoom link to join the prayer meetings each day. \n  \nHere is the schedule for the week: \nJan 4 (no Zoom call)\nSunday service theme: Enjoying peace with God through Jesus Christ \nJan 5\nPraying for peace with others \nJan 6\nPraying for peace in our churches \nJan 7\nPraying for peace with creation \nJan 8\nPraying for peace with ourselves \nJan 9\nPraying for peace with the world \nJan 10 (no Zoom call)\nPray together at your church buildings or on prayer walks\, praying for peace in your neighbourhoods.
