David has been the Assistant to Conference Minister for Chinese Churches since 2016.  Prior to this volunteer role at BCMB, he served in Stewardship Ministries at the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches.  His passion is in leadership development, particularly among second generation young adults in our Chinese churches.

Before he went into ministry, David held senior executive positions with a number of information technology and management consulting companies. He received his education in Minnesota and Stanford University. David is also a Chartered Professional Accountant (C.P.A.).

David is married to Ruth, and has two adult children. David’s favorite hobbies are globetrotting, learning different cultures, and photography.
