Denis’ passion is structures, be they physical or organizational. Before moving into full-time ministry, he worked as a Project Coordinator and Senior Project Manager for a design-build engineering and construction firm in Vancouver for almost 10 years, coordinating and overseeing large-scale projects in Canada, the US, and Europe.

Through his experience in managing these unique and complex design-build projects, Denis has learned to take a vision or idea from concept to reality by prioritizing and maximizing resources effectively and setting strategic plans in place. He loves to empower people and to create the right environment so they can hone their skills. Nothing gives him more pleasure than to see people flourish and excel in their field of abilities and aptitudes.

In 2008, at the age of 40, he left the construction world to prepare for full-time ministry. In 2012, he was hired as the Senior Pastor at Nechako Community Church in Vanderhoof. Denis holds a Masters in Theological Studies from ACTS Seminary. He has been married to his wife, Doris, for 28 years and they have three daughters.

Denis looks forward to using his problem-solving skills and experience for the benefit of our BC Churches and Camps and for expanding God’s Kingdom as the Director of Resource Ministries at the BCMB Conference.
