The Developing Leaders ministry is responsible for supporting and resourcing our churches, so that we can be healthy leaders who lead healthy churches.
Leader Resources
Elevate
Once a year we host Elevate, a leadership equipping day preceding our AGM. This event offers a variety of keynote speakers, breakout rooms and opportunities to connect with other leaders. Our goal is to elevate the leadership of our churches by equipping our pastors and ministry leaders through a variety of topics relevant to ministry and thematically related our annual theme.
Provincial Faith & Life Team
The Provincial Faith & Life Team (PFLT) is responsible for the licensing, credentialing and/or ordination of all BC Mennonite Brethren pastors. All applications are subject to their examination and approval.
BCMB Camps
BCMB partners with the BCMB Bible Camp Society to develop leaders in the camp ministry setting. We invest in leadership training for camp staff and volunteers. We are passionate about being a part of the development of skills and experience for some of our future leaders.
Columbia Bible College CBC
CBC plays a prominent role in the nurturing and development of disciples and leaders. As the Bible College of BCMB, it serves our churches by fostering a biblical foundation to its students, nurturing them in disciple-making and leadership.
Leadership Development Partnership Grant (LDPG)
The LDPG is a coordinated approach of streamlining national and provincial assets to educate and train leaders who are called into vocational ministry. For more information visit the LDGP Grant on the CCMBC Website.
Student Bursaries
The BCMB Conference sees the value in investing in our future leaders, and as such, we provide bursaries to eligible students through both CBC and through the BCMB Bible Camps Society.
